GREENVILLE, S.C. (February 22, 2023) – Eli Solomon, a junior sport management major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with Travelers Rest High School in Travelers Rest.
A resident of Travelers Rest, Solomon is working with the athletic director to learn budgeting, management and leading a high school athletic program. He is also working as an assistant coach with the boy’s soccer team and crafting personalized plans for individual players.
“When I graduate from college, I would love to work as an athletic director or coach for a high school and this internship is perfect for setting me up for my future career,” said Solomon. “The athletic director has provided a hands-on learning environment as well as experience as a high school coach.”
