GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 2, 2023) – The Bob Jones University School for Continuing, Online and Professional Education’s (SCOPE) Master of Music Education program has been named in the top 10 by Forbes Advisor Education.

Forbes scored accredited, nonprofit colleges using 16 data points including the application process, affordability, credibility, student experience and student outcomes. Data from the National Center for Education Statistics and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics was reviewed by an expert panel of professionals and educators in the determination of these rankings.

BJU’s accredited Master of Music Education equips students to apply current research in music education to curriculum and instructional design while exploring various facets of music education, including early childhood music education and music psychology. Coursework is designed for the working professional and is available completely online.

“We’re pleased to see this program recognized for its value to music educators seeking to take the next step in their professional development,” said Dr. Michael Moore, chair of the Division of Music at BJU. “SCOPE has been a great partner in supporting this degree program.”
