Bob Jones University invites the Greenville community to the annual Christmas Celebration Friday, Dec. 5, from 4 – 9 p.m. on the BJU campus.
“This beloved tradition brings our campus and community together to celebrate the true reason for the season, the birth of our Savior,” said Dr. Bruce McAllister, BJU president. “It’s a meaningful time to pause, share in fellowship and be reminded of the blessings this season brings.”
In addition to the Carol Sing and Campus Lighting, attendees can enjoy a variety of holiday activities, including:
- Alumni Christmas Market (Welcome Center and Den, 4-9 p.m.)
- An Evening of Christmas Classics (Stratton Hall, 25-minute shows at 4, 5, & 6 p.m.)
- “The Magic of Christmas” Magic Show (Levinson Hall, 4 p.m.)
- Alumni Giving Tree (Welcome Center, 4-9 p.m.)
- Student Maker’s Market (Gallery Green, 4-6:30 p.m.)
- Christmas Activities for Children (Various locations, 4-6:30 p.m.)
- Chamber Singers (War Memorial Chapel, 5 p.m.)
- Holiday Cookies and Hot Cocoa (Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium & Stratton Hall Corner, *while supplies last)
- Photo Opportunity Spots
Dining options include a holiday dinner in the Dining Common (pre-sold tickets only) and food trucks located on Fine Arts Drive.
The Carol Sing will start at 6:30 p.m. in front of Rodeheaver Plaza. During the sing-along, Dr. McAllister will read the Christmas story from Luke 2 and give brief remarks. At 7:30 p.m., the University Symphony Orchestra will present “Carols and Classics” in Rodeheaver Auditorium.

Free parking is available in the parking garage behind Rodeheaver Auditorium and on campus streets. Some campus streets will be closed for the event.
