GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 11, 2024) – The Community Service Council (CSC) at Bob Jones University will host its semi-annual Blood Connection Drive beginning Wednesday, Mar. 13, through Friday, Mar. 15, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day. The Blood Connection buses will be located in front of Rodeheaver Auditorium.

The CSC’s mission is to organize service projects in the Greenville community and seeks to connect students and student organizations to service opportunities.

“It’s a privilege for those of us at BJU to help those in our community needing to receive blood donations,” says Dr. Matthew Weathers, director of the BJU Center for Leadership Development.

Students, alumni and members of the public interested in donating blood are encouraged to eat iron-rich foods (i.e. meats, spinach, and broccoli), drink plenty of water, and eat a good meal the day they donate.

All donors will receive a $50 e-gift card. Donors are encouraged to sign up for an appointment.
