GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 13, 2024) – Ashlyn Moritz, a senior political science major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with the American Association of Christian Schools in Washington, DC.
A resident of Westfield, Indiana, Moritz serves as a summer intern in the AACS Legislative Office. She researches current events and policies, specifically concerning education and religious freedom issues, and attends meetings on Capitol Hill. Additionally, she assists with planning the annual AACS Youth Legislative Training Conference held in July.
“The AACS internship is a great opportunity for me to see the everyday workings of Capitol Hill through a Christian perspective,” said Moritz. “I am learning about influencing policy while still maintaining my values.”
