BJU President Steve Pettit’s Remarks on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 19, 2015) – During this morning’s chapel service, Bob Jones University President Steve Pettit spoke to faculty, staff and students about the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his desire to bring about racial equality and harmony.

Pettit noted that we honor King for his sacrifice for a just cause and praised him for the pivotal role he played in ending segregation. Pettit challenged the BJU family to pray for racial harmony as we are all one in Christ’s body.
