What if I need to extend my stay in the Greenville area?

We understand, of course, that some students will have extenuating circumstances requiring them to remain in the Greenville area. We are eager to help you through this transition. What can I expect from my professor?

  • To reply to emails within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.
  • To assign homework that adequately covers the material and meets the learning objectives of the course while adhering to the time expectations for a 3-credit course.
  • To provide feedback in a timely manner.

What does my professor expect from me?

  • To be engaged in class.
  • To spend an adequate amount of time on the homework each week, making an effort to understand and complete each assignment.
    • If you are taking 12 credits, you should plan to spend approximately 30–36 hours on schoolwork each week.
    • If you are taking 15 credits, you should plan to spend approximately 40–45 hours on schoolwork each week.
    • If you are taking 18 credits, you should plan to spend approximately 45–54 hours on schoolwork each week.
  • To seek help when appropriate.
  • Offer feedback on course content, lay out and delivery.

What can I expect from my advisor?

How do I return rented textbooks?

Textbook rentals have been extended through May 22.

In-Person:
The Textbook Store is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday until May 8. The store will also be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 11–22.

By Mail:
Any student who would prefer to not return books personally may return them through the mail, via any carrier they choose.
