All true BJU veterans know about Gold Rush Daze. Every four years, students used to take a break from classes for a day of fun. And though BJU has ended this tradition, they have replaced it with something better: Bruin Daze!

A Week of Spirit

All week long from March 4–9, students will have a bunch of different special activities to enjoy. From breakfasts served by administrators to a campus-wide game of tag, the fun will be endless. And that doesn’t include the fireworks.

Daily events

Matthew Weathers, student leadership coordinator, said, “Gold Rush Daze have been a Bob Jones tradition for decades . . . But we decided to do Bruin Daze every two years to give students an opportunity who were studying for a two-year associate’s degree or finishing in three years to experience it.” He encouraged everyone to participate in this week of fun.
