Will Moy Named to the BJU Bruins Men’s Soccer Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 31, 2016) – Will Moy, a senior at Friendship Christian School, was recently named to the Bob Jones University men’s soccer team roster for the fall of 2016.

A resident of Raleigh, North Carolina, Moy collected 54 goals and 20 assists in his last two seasons of high school soccer at Friendship Christian School. His team finished first in their conference and won the North Carolina Christian School Association (NCCSA) AA State Championship. Moy’s awards over both years include 2015 Best Offense and 2015 NCCSA AA First Team All-Region. Moy has also played at the classic level for 6 years representing the Capital Area Soccer League in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Over the years his teams have won numerous tournaments, including the 2016 Adidas Cup in Charlotte, North Carolina. Moy was able to compete with his team in the NCYSA Premier Division for the spring of 2016.

“We are very excited to bring in a well-rounded group of players who have been very successful both on the field and in the classroom,” said BJU men’s soccer coach Jesse McCormick. “We look forward to challenging these young men to grow and excel during their time at BJU and we are excited about what they can bring to the team both on and off the field.”

Moy maintains a 3.83 GPA and plans to major in international studies this fall.
