Walt Wilkins to Speak at Bob Jones University

GREENVILLE, S.C. (October 1, 2018) – The Bob Jones University Public Policy Organization will host 13th Judicial Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. in Levinson Hall.

Evan Newman, president of the BJU Public Policy Organization said, “We are pleased to host Solicitor Wilkins to give our students and the greater Greenville community an opportunity to learn about the critical role of the solicitor’s office in keeping our communities safe.”

A Greenville native, Wilkins earned his undergraduate degree from Wofford College. He earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1999. Wilkins has worked as an attorney for both Lockheed Martin in Argentina and at Greenville area firm Leatherwood, Walker, Todd and Mann.

Wilkins has held several positions including U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina and is currently serving his second term as solicitor of the 13th Judicial Circuit, which covers Greenville and Pickens counties.

Following his presentation, Wilkins will hold a question and answer session. The forum is free and open to the public.
