GREENVILLE, S.C. (December 18, 2017) – Tyler Horkavy, a senior graphic design major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for BJU’s Marketing Communications department in Greenville, South Carolina.
Horkavy, a resident of Benson, North Carolina, works as a creative design intern for the art and design creative team. Some of his responsibilities include designing print media such as posters, pictures, flyers, invitations, announcements, banners, signage and handouts.
“This internship has been an excellent opportunity to obtain professional design experience with fellow designers who have a superior understanding and grasp of current design trends,” said Horkavy. “Personally, this experience has been a struggle as I learn to transition from scholastic design to real world design, but the team has been very supportive and encouraging. As a result, this experience has enhanced my personal creative process, stretched my technical knowledge and been an invaluable tool for equipping me to become an asset to any marketing or design firm in the future.”
