GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 30, 2022) – Timothy Anglea joined the Bob Jones University faculty this fall as an assistant professor in the Division of Natural Science in the College of Arts and Science.

He earned a BS in engineering from BJU and an MS and PhD in electrical engineering from Clemson University. He also completed a graduate certificate in engineering and science education at Clemson.

Anglea previously served as an instructor at Clemson University, teaching Basic Electrical Engineering. He has contributed to numerous research publications.

“Timothy recently completed his PhD in electrical engineering from Clemson University, and while there he had significant teaching experience including lecturing some large engineering classes,” said Dr. Bill Lovegrove, Department of Engineering head. “He joins the engineering faculty as an experienced teacher but also brings the fresh perspective of a recent PhD student.”

This academic year, Anglea will primarily teach Digital Electronics. He will also assist in the Essential Science and Global Challenges class.

“I’m excited to be returning to BJU after having completed my graduate work at Clemson University,” said Anglea. “I’m very appreciative of what my professors have done for me throughout my college experience, and I hope to have the same positive influence on the next generation of students.”

He attends University Baptist Church in Clemson, SC where he helps operate the audio/visual equipment and teaches the teen Sunday School class.
