GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 25, 2016) – Tabitha Clark, a senior early childhood education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher for Thomas E. Kerns Elementary in Greenville, South Carolina.
Clark, a resident of Odessa, Missouri, is gaining hands-on experience in managing a classroom, writing lesson plans, planning classroom activities, and teaching a variety of subjects.
“During my student teaching internship, I have had experiences that I could never have in a university classroom,” says Clark. “I love being able to take what I have learned in the classroom and use it to help engage my students in meaningful learning. My internship has taught me how exciting teaching can be, and I am looking forward to my first year of teaching.”
