Greenville, S.C. (November 7, 2013) – State Treasurer Curtis Loftis will visit Bob Jones Academy Elementary School as part of his statewide “Log on to Financial Literacy” tour Mon., Nov. 11 at 9 a.m.
Treasurer Loftis will speak with students about financial literacy and present the school with iPads loaded with financial education software. The Treasurer has awarded hundreds of computer tablets to schools across South Carolina. The iPads are provided by a private grant and are not paid for with state funds.
Following his presentation, the Treasurer will tour the elementary school.
