Greenville, S.C. (October 1, 2013) – Abby Stanley, a senior journalism and mass communication major at Bob Jones University, finished third in the women’s 6000 meter run at the 2013 Warrior Invitational held at Southern Wesleyan University Sept. 28.
Stanley, a resident of Three Springs, Pa. and the captain of the BJU Bruins women’s cross country team, finished third in the 6000 meter run with a time of 21:15.
Stanley’s efforts, combined with those of the other members of the Bruins women’s cross country team, led the women’s team to finish third overall among seven teams competing, which is their highest placement to date in the team’s inaugural season.
