Greenville, S.C. (February 26, 2014) – Jon Sparkman was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Devine Millimet, one of the largest full-service law firms in northern New England.
Sparkman received his BS in Professional Accounting from Bob Jones University graduating summa cum laude in 1985. He received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 1990. Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, he is also a certified public accountant. He focuses on business and tax law including representation of non-profit organizations.
Sparkman is the president of Devine Millimet. His three-year term began on January 1, 2012. He is a former chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association, and was member of the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants, 2004-2007.
Sparkman has been recognized multiple years in The Best Lawyers in America and is a frequent speaker for law groups, institutes and CPA societies. He is also published in numerous business and trade magazines.
Jon and his wife, Lisa, have four children and reside in, Pelham, N.H. He has also served as music director at Grace Bible Church of Dracut, N.H. and volunteered as a youth sports coach in his community.
