GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 19, 2018) – Shelby Ziemer, a junior mathematics education major at Bob Jones University, serves this semester as an intern at J.L. Mann High School in Greenville, South Carolina.
Ziemer, a resident of Fountain Inn, serves as a teaching assistant for Algebra 2 honors. She assists the mentor teacher with classroom management and helps students with assigned coursework. Ziemer also has the opportunity to teach several lessons during the course of her practicum.
“I have really enjoyed getting to know and interact with my students,” said Ziemer. “My practicum has been very helpful because I have had the opportunity to take everything I’ve learned in my classes and actually apply it in the classroom setting.”
