GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 15, 2024) – Shauna Nanney joins the Bob Jones University faculty this fall as an assistant professor in the Division of Nursing in the School of Health Professions.
She earned a BSN from BJU and is completing an MSN in Nursing Education from Liberty University.
Nanney previously served as a nursing clinical coordinator at BJU and a registered nurse (postpartum/WBN) at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She is certified in basic life support and neonatal resuscitation.
This academic year, she is teaching Maternal-Newborn Nursing.
Nanney, and her husband, Taylor, have three children.
“I am excited to teach and influence future generations of nurses. I hope to grow their understanding of not only maternal-newborn nursing, but also their recognition that as nurses they are the hands and feet of Christ,” said Nanney. “Nurses touch the lives of their patients and loved ones in more ways than they realize and that is a wonderful gift to be a part of.”
