GREENVILLE, S.C. (December 1, 2017) – Richard McNeel, a junior health science major at Bob Jones University, serves this semester as an intern at Greenville Health System.
McNeel, a resident of Hampton, New Hampshire, interned and observed in a variety of departments, including orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, radiology, and pediatric neurosurgery.
“The opportunity to get firsthand experience in the hospital has pushed me towards my decision to apply to medical school,” said McNeel. “Observing surgeons working in the operating room and experiencing traumas in the emergency room have been truly remarkable and exciting opportunities.”
