GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 3, 2021) – Rachel Sellew, a senior studio art major, serves as an intern at Hollowed Earth Pottery located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Hollowed Earth Pottery is a pottery shop that sells ceramic creations and offers beginner and intermediate classes for adults and children. Sellew, a resident of Hodges, assists the owners by prepping pottery clay and wheels for classes, processing student work and packaging completed pieces.
“The importance of community and collaboration are seen every day in the hard work ethic and friendly atmosphere of the staff and studio members at Hollowed Earth,” Sellew said. “Their example has given me valuable insight on the importance of certain aspects of running a small business. This is helpful as I plan to start my own in the future.”
