GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 6, 2019) – Noel Monroe, a senior elementary education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher at Ellen Woodside Elementary School in Pelzer, South Carolina.
Monroe, a resident of Greer, works alongside a mentor teacher in a third grade classroom and will eventually assume full day teaching responsibilities.
“I am realizing that the job of a teacher is so much more that teaching. It is leaning into the lives of children and having a lasting impact on these impressionable students,” said Monroe. “What a huge yet rewarding responsibility!”
