GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 18, 2020) – Nathan Swaim, a senior accounting major at Bob Jones University, served as an intern with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Swaim, a resident of Lexington, North Carolina, participated in the first completely online internship with the firm. Swaim completed the Human Centered Design badge, which focuses on thinking creatively about solving client issues using personable approaches to teamwork and data analysis, and brainstormed about new approaches to virtual engagement for fall recruiting efforts. Additionally, he received training on PwC’s systems in preparation of becoming a full time employee with the firm in fall 2021.
“Interning at PwC in their virtual internship program solidified my decision to start my career in public accounting with them,” says Swaim. “Their care and commitment to me as an intern during this turbulent year demonstrated their dedication to their employees.”
