GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 8, 2020) – Morgan Pettingill, a senior educational studies major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern at the Greenville Homeless Alliance in Greenville.
Pettingill, a resident of Davison, Michigan, performs a variety of tasks, both in and out of the office. From data collection and organization to spreading awareness of homelessness at local events and surveying those affected by homelessness, every day is unique.
“Before this internship, I knew next to nothing about homelessness, but since I’ve joined GHA, my entire perspective on the homeless community has changed,” says Pettingill. “I feel I have a responsibility to advocate for the voiceless and this experience has only deepened that passion.”
