Merkle Named as Associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP

Greenville, S.C. (October 29, 2013) – Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP recently named Sarah Merkle, formerly of Greenville, as an associate with the firm’s litigation practice group in Birmingham, Ala.

Merkle, a 2000 cum laude (BS) and a 2004 magna cum laude (MA) graduate of Bob Jones University, earned her JD cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she also served as editor-in-chief of the South Carolina Law Review.

She was named the 2011 USC Outstanding Law Student of the Year by the National Association of Women Lawyers, received multiple CALI awards, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Additionally, she is one of 30 individuals nationwide to hold the credentials of Certified Professional Parliamentarian and Professional Registered Parliamentarian.

Merkle joined the firm following a clerkship with the Honorable Henry F. Floyd on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
