GREENVILLE, S.C. (October 10, 2022) – Melena Jenks, a senior communication disorders major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with the Advanced Institution for Development and Learning (AID-L) in Greenville.
A resident of St. Johnsbury, Jenks helps children improve their speech, language and social skills under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
“Although I am only a month into my internship, I can already tell my knowledge and practical application of therapy techniques has improved immensely,” said Jenks. “This has become one of my most enjoyable semesters during my education at Bob Jones University. I have no doubt that upon graduating in December I will be well prepared for graduate school next year.”
