GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 13, 2022) – Meghan Boutwell, a senior ministry and leadership major at Bob Jones University, completed an internship with Mountain View Bible Church in Dublin, New Hampshire.
A resident of Rindge, Boutwell worked within the teen and children’s ministry in the church. Her responsibilities included accompanying the teens on a mission trip to Utah and teaching pre-school/kindergarten Vacation Bible School and junior church classes. She also led the teen girls in a summer-long Sunday school Bible study, planned and ran a youth activity, participated in weekly dinners with different church families and mentored teen girls and women.
“This internship was such a valuable life-changing experience in which I got to learn by doing,” said Boutwell. “I learned what it means to love and serve the church for God’s greater glory as I got to work alongside my pastor, his wife, and the youth leaders and catch a glimpse of their shepherding care for the church, and through this I learned how to be an active member that humbly and fervently serves the Lord with gladness in whatever church God places me in.”
