GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 17, 2024) – McKenna McCann is an assistant professor in the Division of Nursing in the School of Health Professions. She previously served as a nursing clinical coordinator for the BJU Division of Nursing.
McCann earned a BSN from BJU and an MSN in Nursing Education from Capella University.
She has worked in various clinical settings including Prisma Health in Greenville, Aya Healthcare in Columbia and Spartanburg Regional Hospital. She is certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
This academic year, she is teaching Beginning Medical-Surgical Nursing (NU 210).
“I am excited to take on this new role of engaging and mentoring nursing students as they pursue their professional careers,” said McCann. “I look forward to building relationships with students and growing together.”
She and her husband, Charlie, have two daughters.
