GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 23, 2019) – Lucas May, a senior business administration major at Bob Jones University, serves as a summer intern with Gordian, a leading provider of facility and construction cost data, software and expertise in California.
May, a resident of Brandon, Manitoba, is shadowing the regional director of operations in northern California and Nevada. His responsibilities include supporting the management team, working with the regional director on project budgets, communicating with customers and clients and reviewing proposals.
“This internship is a very valuable experience that is helping me understand the construction project process from many angles. I am able to see management teams in action and gain insight about leadership styles,” says May. “Personally, I am growing as I adjust to a new environment and corporate culture. I don’t know exactly what my future holds, but I know that this internship will definitely prepare me.”
