GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 26, 2017) – Lauren Watts, a senior biochemistry and molecular biology major at Bob Jones University, was given the 2017 Outstanding Senior Award at the Western Carolinas Section of the American Chemical Society meeting April 11 at Furman University.
“We are so proud of Lauren’s academic and research accomplishments,” says Dr. Brian Vogt, head of the Department of Chemistry and Physics at BJU. “We congratulate her on this significant recognition.”
Watts, a resident of Greenville, was one of 14 outstanding seniors from various colleges and universities recognized as an outstanding student in chemistry or biochemistry.
