GREENVILLE, S.C. (October 6, 2016) – Kyle Sizemore, a senior communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for the Old Cigar Warehouse, an event hall in Greenville, South Carolina
Sizemore, a resident of Franklin, North Carolina, serves as operations intern by assisting in coordinating and setting up weddings, corporate and other special events held at the warehouse. Sizemore also serves by taking weekly inventory of supplies for upcoming events, placing orders, and conducting market research in order to suggest logistical improvements to keep the company up to date with trends in the hospitality industry. Sizemore has also spent time shadowing in departments such as sales, operations, marketing and public relations, as well as with the CEO.
“My internship has been extremely valuable at increasing my experience in the hospitality industry,” says Sizemore. “Through this experience, I have learned what it takes to run an expanding business with many moving parts.”
