Kendra Jeffcott Scores 1,000th Career Point

GREENVILLE, S.C.  (March 2, 2015) – Bob Jones University Bruins women’s basketball guard Kendra Jeffcott became the first BJU women’s basketball player to score 1,000 career points in school history.  Jeffcott’s milestone came during the Bruins 53-50 home victory over Southern Wesleyan University Sat., Feb. 28.

Jeffcott led the Bruins in scoring during the game with 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Two other Bruins players scored in double figures for the game.

Jeffcott is a junior accounting major from Wilton, California.

This season marks the third season that BJU has competed in intercollegiate basketball as a Division I university in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
