GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 9, 2022) – Kendra Horton, a junior child development major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with A Child’s Haven in Greenville.
A resident of Simpsonville, Horton assists teachers in the Extended Day Program as they work with children. Throughout the day, she helps enrollees develop social and emotional learning skills.
“My internship this semester has allowed me to apply the knowledge I have acquired over the past two years. It is preparing me for my future profession as a child life specialist,” said Horton. “I love the relationships I am building with the students, and I have learned so much from the staff. Through this experience, I have built great connections. I am looking forward to applying everything I have learned.”
