GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 11, 2018) – Joy Kamibayashiyama, a senior communication major at Bob Jones University, serves this summer as an intern at Pioneer Bible Camp in Eden, Utah.
Kamibayashiyama, a resident of Quezon City, Philippines, works in the camp office. In this role, she communicates with prospective campers and their parents as well as manages social media accounts. Kamibayashiyama is responsible for organizing special activities for the campers, planning staff retreats and revising the staff handbook
“This internship is a wonderful opportunity for me to experience many aspects of communication from public relations to counseling. I know I will be challenged by new situations and will learn good, practical skills I can apply to my future ministry,” said Kamibayashiyama.
