GREENVILLE, S.C. (February 8, 2016) – Joseph Simmons, a junior accounting major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for the Wilds in Brevard, North Carolina.
Simmons, a resident of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, is serving this semester in the Wild’s accounting office. Simmons assists in preparing budget plans, expense reports, and analyzing their finances.
The Wilds is a Christian camp with locations in North Carolina and New England. Throughout the year, the Wilds hosts summer camps, conferences, and various retreats for faith-based organizations.
“I really enjoy working at the Wilds,” says Simmons. “I have learned a lot about hard work here as well as many other things, but this experience has made me look at work life a lot differently. The office staff are supportive, encouraging, and, most importantly, they encourage me to give God the glory in whatever I do.”
