GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 15, 2021) – Jonah Woo, a senior health sciences major, serves as an intern for Prisma Health Services located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Woo, a resident of North Augusta, observes Prisma physicians as they practice medicine in a hospital setting. Prisma Health, the largest non-profit healthcare system in South Carolina, provides residents with a variety of services including hospital, post-acute, home recovery and hospice care.
“Practical experience is one of the greatest ways to learn,” Woo said. “Observing direct care by a quality team has encouraged me in my pursuit to assist others through medicine.”
