GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 20, 2017) – Jocelyn Lindmark, a senior music education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher this semester at Alexander Elementary School.

Lindmark, a resident of Bath, New York, teaches about 90 kindergartners each week. In her general music classes they study moving, playing, singing, reading, analyzing, and evaluating music.

“Student teaching has been one of my most valuable college experiences,” says Lindmark. “It has taught me about my strengths and weaknesses in teaching in a positive atmosphere. It has been a good taste of life as a real teacher.”
