GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 11, 2017) – Jessica Wallace, a senior criminal justice major at Bob Jones University, interns this summer for the Pinole Police Department located in Pinole, California.
Wallace, a resident of Pinole, is gaining experience by performing “ride-alongs” with police officers, “sit-alongs” with the department dispatcher, and assisting Crime Prevention officers with community events.
“I value this internship as much as I value the four years I have spent in the classroom,” says Wallace. “Being able to apply what I have learned and seeing first-hand what officers face every day has been an incredible experience, and I am excited to see how God uses me in the department and in the community.”
