GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 7, 2016) – Jensyn Cone, a 2012 graduate of Bob Jones University and fourth year medical student at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville (USCSOMG), has recently been accepted to the Harvard residency program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, Massachusetts.

Cone, a resident of Taylors, South Carolina, graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in premed and was accepted into USCSOMG’s charter class in the fall of 2012. Cone will complete her medical school program in the summer of 2016 when she will begin her residency at BIDMC in pathology.

“During my undergrad at Bob Jones University, my professors encouraged me to find motivation to excel beyond myself,” said Cone. “They desperately wanted to shape students who would use education not just for higher pay or greater intellectual stature, but rather to serve others and to glorify God. Influenced by so many wonderful educators, I plan to use this opportunity at BIDMC to its fullest. I want to gain everything I can so that I can one day pass on the legacy of learning.”
