GREENVILLE, S.C. (October 25, 2017) – Jay Wilson, a junior pre-med major at Bob Jones University, was chosen to participate in Greenville Health System’s Medical Experience (MedEx) Academy in Greenville.

The MedEx Academy is a one-of-a-kind program developed to provide hands-on experience for young people interested in pursuing careers in health care.

Wilson, a resident of Greenville, will have the unique opportunity to explore health care through simulations, lectures, workshops, research and community service. Wilson will also receive materials to help prepare for graduate school admission processes and interviews, including admission tests such as the MCAT and GRE.

“The MedEx Academy greatly adds to my preparation for applying to medical school,” says Wilson. “This experience provides the resources I need to allow me to be a competitive candidate for medical school. I would definitely recommend the MedEx program for anyone interesting in pursuing a career in health care.”
