GREENVILLE, S.C. (February 11, 2019) – James DeHart, a senior elementary education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher at Gateway Elementary School in Travelers Rest.
DeHart, a resident of Taylors, assists his mentor teacher in a second grade classroom. He will have the opportunity to teach various subjects and prepare students for tests.
“I am excited about being a student teacher at Gateway Elementary,” said DeHart. “The training I’m receiving from Mrs. Huff is wonderful and preparing me for my own classroom in the future.”
