Greenville, S.C. (October 14, 2013) – Aaron Iles, a senior mathematics major at Bob Jones University, set a course record  in the men’s 8000 meter run at the TFC Eagle Invitational held at Toccoa Falls College Oct. 12.

Iles, a resident of Monroeville, N.J., and the captain of the BJU Bruins men’s cross country team, finished first in the 8000 meter run and set a meet and course record with a time of 26:56. This is the third successive meet where Iles finished first.

Iles’ leadership, combined with outstanding contributions from each member of the team, made history as the BJU Bruins men’s cross country team finished first in the invitational, their highest finish in their inaugural year of intercollegiate competition.
