GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 30, 2017) – Hannah Smith, a senior journalism and mass communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this semester in the BJU public relations office.
Smith, a resident of Santa Ana, California, is gaining experience in the varied tasks and responsibilities found in a public relations department. Smith will assist in media monitoring, writing press releases, social media research, and event management.
“I am so excited to apply classroom skills to the BJU public relations office under the capable direction of experienced staff members,” says Smith. “This experience has taught me that even outside of the classroom learning and growing continues. BJU has done so much for me these past three and a half years and I am privileged to have the opportunity to give back during my final semester.”
