Hannah Hunter, a senior communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for the St. Francis Foundation in Greenville, South Carolina.
Hunter, a resident of Moscow, assists with press releases, social media, data base entry, and a variety of writing projects and events.
St. Francis Foundation is a charitable organization that supports the mission of the Bon Secours St. Francis Health System. The organization works with donors to create healthy communities, advance clinical innovation, and assist St. Francis in providing health care to individuals who cannot afford it.
“My internship challenges me to work hard, value others and their stories, and invest myself in a cause,” says Hunter. “This experience has given me an appreciation for nonprofit foundations and has allowed me to focus on people, while applying my knowledge in communication. The foundation is a beautiful place, specifically because of their value for life.”
