GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 8, 2021) – Gabrielle Hammond, a junior studio art major, serves as an intern for Karisma by Kara Handmade Jewelry located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Hammond, a resident of Anderson, assists with jewelry design, managing online inventory and customer connections. The shop, owned and operated by artist Kara, specializes in unique handcrafted pieces created from a variety of metals including aluminum, copper, brass, silver and gold fill.
“Working at Karisma has helped me understand the day-to-day application of balancing an art career with personal life,” said Hammond. “It has been an excellent experience that will help me go beyond my academic training.”
