GREENVILLE, S.C. (December 7, 2019) – Flags at Bob Jones University are being flown at half-staff in recognition of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. The attack on Pearl Harbor occurred on December 7, 1941, leading to the death of 2,341 sailors, soldiers, and Marines as well as 49 civilians. The attack lead to America’s entry into World War II. This year marks the 78th anniversary of the attack.
