Flags at Bob Jones University are being flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at the request of South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, in honor of Elizabeth Johnston Patterson and in recognition of her extraordinary service to the State of South Carolina as a member
of the Spartanburg County Council, South Carolina Senate, and United States House of Representatives representing the state’s Fourth Congressional District.
