Thursday, September 26, 7:00 p.m., War Memorial Chapel

Philip Gingery, tenor, and a graduate of Bob Jones University, will present “A Bach Encounter for Tenor: Selections from J. S. Bach’s Cantatas and Oratorios.

Friday, September 27, 11:00 a.m., Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium

In this first Vespers program of the school year, BJU cinema students will present a documentary film featuring various students speaking about their opportunities for gospel ministry and their spiritual growth in Christ over this past summer.

Saturday, September 28, 7:00 p.m., War Memorial Chapel

The second of two faculty programs celebrating the two-hundredth anniversary of Wagner’s and Verdi’s births will consist of a piano duet, Wagner/Verdi arias, the concluding scene from Falstaff, and the BJU premiere of some of Verdi’s and Wagner’s works for piano. Music majors who did not attend the first program on September 21 should attend.

This special exhibition showcases the work of new Art and Design faculty member, Freda Sue, highlighting works presented for the fulfillment of her master’s in fine arts degree from Savannah College of Art and Design.
