GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 9, 2017) – Evan Tyrol, a senior information technology major at Bob Jones University, serves this summer as an intern for Inter-City Baptist Church in Allen Park, Michigan.
Tyrol, a resident of Attleboro, Massachusetts, will serve in the church’s information technology department. He will be assisting with a variety of projects including network upgrade cleanup, migrating the mail server to Office 365, rebuilding personal computers for clients, disposing of excess equipment and migrating their website hosting capabilities.
“The value of this internship to me is two-fold,” says Tyrol. “First, this opportunity will give me hands-on IT experience, and I am excited to learn as much as this internship has to offer to me so that I can grow in the knowledge of my field. Second, because I am working at a church, I have the opportunity to not only grow in my technical capabilities but also to grow spiritually by becoming involved in Inter-City’s outreaches and ministries.”
