GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 25, 2018) – Elizabeth Pena, a junior premed major at Bob Jones University, serves as a research assistant at BJU’s Cancer Research Lab in Greenville.

A resident of Simpsonville, Pena is responsible for designing and performing experiments pertaining to specific cancer cell lines. The research project requires collaborating with other undergraduate science majors to design experiments and insure that the implementation process works successfully.

“Research is a good way to develop critical thinking skills. I enjoy science and desire to master clear thinking in order to improve my research skills so that I can apply them in my future work,” said Pena.
