GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 30, 2018) – Elise Parish, a senior sports management major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this summer for West End Events at Fluor Field in Greenville, South Carolina.
Fluor Field is the home of the Greenville Drive, a Minor League Baseball team which is a Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
Parish, a resident of Tooele, Utah, is developing a manual for future interns and employees to streamline the onboarding process. Her responsibilities include creating a tour presentation for the Fluor Field complex and staffing events held at the stadium.
“As a sports management major, interning at a baseball stadium is one of the best things I can imagine to help get my foot in the door of sports. Working in sports hospitality is something I truly enjoy, so getting to help run events at a baseball stadium is a great start to a potential career!,” says Parish.
